MINING INDUSTRY
Whilst it may serve as an alternative to explosives, non-detonating technology does not aim to compete with traditional explosives in the construction industry. Essentially, the company’s products are for use when explosives are not permitted.

World-wide trends include denser metropolitan infrastructures with stringent rock breaking constraints, higher environmental standards, reduced tolerance to effects of conventional blasting and increased security aimed at limiting the availability of high explosives in civilian areas.

Oversize boulders

Breaking down of concrete and reinforced concrete structures.
Mass excavations
Any mass rock excavation project that is sensitive in any way or is in close proximity to busy roads, infrastructure, gas, water, electricity or residential area.
Secondary rock breaking
Footwall lowering, hanging wall raising and any other rock removal work.
Tunneling
Nxco’s RBC’s can be used for tunneling as it leaves the remaining rock competent.
