The Fragmentor cartridges are used when stemming is not available, not easy to install or not financially viable and are available in two configurations:

• The Axial Piston (AP) cartridge range is a single sided self-stemming cartridge
• The Concentric Case cartridge (CC) range is a double sided self-stemming cartridge

These cartridges are tamper proof and can be used underwater and also feature a retaining device to hold it at the desired installation position at all inclinations. The design is aimed at remote installations utilising a charge vehicle or an extended charging pole. AP cartridges can be applied in blind holes and the CC cartridge is more versatile and can be applied to both blind and through holes; used in single and stacked configurations and by utilising electric and non-electric initiation.
